The moment we stepped foot in the Margarita’s House, the first stop in our trip, we were greeted by the friendly smiles of our hosts. We were ushered to the table to eat the warm food prepared for our arrival despite the late hour. While we ate, the hosts made sure we were comfortable and introduced us to the dogs.

Kalani Retreat Center to the Lava Flow Hostel!

Hawaii has been an incredible experience! So far, we’ve seen many places and have also met a number of amazing people. One of those places that we’ve visited was a Hawaiian native camp created my Hawailan natives, Lei and Ana. At the camp, our group was exposed to Hawaiian culture elements including chants, hula, the language of Hawaii, and environmental project procedures, which were demonstrated to us by not only the Hawaiian adults, but also the children making up the camp.
