Our amazing HEAF students have begun the service portion of their trip to Nepal. The group got the opportunity to work with kids at Buddha Park and EDUC, teaching everything from Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes to how to say the names of different fruits in English. The kids loved having the HEAF students with them!

Each afternoon, the group is immersed in their Nepali community in Dhapasi and enjoy the opportunity to sharpen their language skills, learn about the tactical responses and approaches to addressing human trafficking in Nepal, and eat lots of Dhal Bhat!

Tuesday 7/3 was a very special day. The group traveled 2 hours outside of Kathmandu to partner with a farming cooperative in Pharping. They got their hands (and feet, and ankles) dirty as they dived into rice-planting alongside their group and local guides.

We are so proud of this group, their commitment to service and their thirst for knowledge. Despite the many challenges of cultural immersion across the globe, they are soaking it all in!

Until next time!!
