Hola por última vez desde Costa Rica!

Our trip has come to an end, but the fun certainly hasn’t. Throughout our last week in the community, we finished helping out by cleaning up and completing our center murals. After that, the only thing left to do was have fun and celebrate before enjoying our last days in Uvita.

Top Highlights of the Week

So many things happened this week, it’s hard to pick highlights. However, the top 3 things we most enjoyed were:

  • Surfing: Catching waves and enjoying the ocean.
  • White Water Rafting: An exhilarating adventure on the rapids.
  • Last Day Party at Las Mercedes: Dancing bachata and singing our hearts out.

Overcoming Challenges

We were challenged this week by the realization that our trip is over and soon we will return to our respective realities, completely different from Costa Rica.

Gratitude & Growth

Overall, we’re feeling completely grateful for this experience in which we’ve grown in so many ways. We’ve learned not only about the Spanish language but also about Latin American culture and each other.

We look forward to reuniting with our families soon and seeing each other again in the future.

Until then, pura vida!
