Costa Rica: Exploring The Rainforest!

The Costa Rica crew is having an absolute blast in the rainforest! In the few short days they’ve been there, they have already gone ziplining, rappelling, and tree climbing. They’ve also started their service project and we can’t wait to see what their hard work accomplishes. Below is the groups handwritten blog post, the activities are typed out below 🙂

Day 1
Meet in Newark, fly to Costa Rica, dinner at Casa Margarita’a

Day 2
Woke up and ate breakfast, played name games (it rocked!), drove to supermarket on our way to Mirador Valle de General, break for lunch (so yummy!), arrived at hotel—we had a lovely dinner and kind of unpacked, team building, buenas noches

Day 3
Woke up and had breakfast, ziplining and rappelling!, small hike and chill time, lunch and debrief of next day, more bonding

Day 4
Big travel day: 2.5 hour van ride; cable car rides; 4 mile hike; break to dip in waterfall
Arrival at the RAC, ate an amazing lunch, bed assignments, coloring with kids and dips in the river, fabulous dinner!
