Final days

The final day of the homestays brought many tears and mixed feelings, from relief to despair. After the group was back together, we had a good time cooking and celebrating a simpler version of Thanksgiving. We were all thrilled to head to Zanzibar especially for the sun and sand as it had gotten really rainy and cloudy in the Kakamega area. We arrived in Zanzibar on Sunday and will try to send one final update before the end of the program.
