Update from the homestay – Costa Rica

We spoke to the Costa Rica group twice this weekend. Spirits were high as the group arrived back in San Isidro, after 3 great days at the Rainforest Adventure Center.  The journey to the center included a two hour 4X4 ride followed by a two hour hike. While at the center the group climbed a 300 year old Giant Tree, repelled several hundred feet down a waterfall and participated in a night hike where they were able to see many species of frogs.  They have been growing accustom to Costa Rican cuisine, eating lots of rice and beans and chicken!

Now the group is settling into their community and beginning their homestays and service project.  The leaders will try to send photos to share soon!
