We just spoke with Laurel. The group stayed up late last night soaking up the final moments together in Zanzibar. Many students are ready to head home but there were also tearful goodbyes, the group has grown very close over the past few months!

Laurel is now at the airport in Nairobi with the students who are leaving today, December 1. So far, it looks like all the flights are on time. Laurel will be in Nairobi until tomorrow, December 2 just in case there are any hiccups in travel plans.

Thanks to everyone for following the blog. It has been an incredible few months, and I’m sure you are all excited to see and spend time with these wonderful students making their way home!
