They visited the beach town of Santa Catalina and the island of Coiba just off-shore, which is a natural paradise for wildlife, both above and below the water. Here is an\u00a0alphabetic narrative of their journey there:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>A is for Aquamarine<\/strong>. We were blown away by the bright blue shade of the tropical water surrounding Isla Coiba.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.globalroutes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_7080.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6106\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.globalroutes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_7080-1024x768.jpg?resize=980%2C735\" alt=\"IMG_7080\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>B is for the Banana Nutella Smoothies<\/strong>\u00a0that we enjoyed on our first night back from the island. After two nights on the beach it was a cool and delicious treat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C is for Croc Tracks\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; spotted on Playa Machete in the early morning!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.globalroutes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_7166.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6113\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.globalroutes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_7166-1024x768.jpg?resize=980%2C735\" alt=\"IMG_7166\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>D is for Dolphins\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; we caught glimpses of several groups of dolphins. The last one on our way back to Santa Catalina put on a Sea World-like show, jumping high up out of the water!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6108\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6108\" style=\"width: 980px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.globalroutes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_7106.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6108 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.globalroutes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_7106-1024x768.jpg?resize=980%2C735\" alt=\"IMG_7106\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6108\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">One dolphin that we did catch on camera.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>E is for Enrique Iglesias &#8211; Bailando\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; a memorable song of the week.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NUsoVlDFqZg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<strong>F is for &#8220;feels like 115&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; This really was a clip from the weather report on Friday. Panama was HOT!<\/p>\n<p><strong>G is for Granito de Oro\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; This little gem is one of many island cayes off of Coiba. He was set to crack open a coconut and drink its sweet milk. We were totally immersed in our experience!<\/p>\n<p><strong>O is for Ocean\u00a0<\/strong>and how much we loved camping on its shore.<\/p>\n<p><strong>P is for Playa Machete<\/strong>. On Easter Sunday, before\u00a0we hopped on the bus to leave for San Jose, we grabbed lunch at Restaurante Excelente, our\u00a0favorite Chinese restaurant in San Isidro.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Y is for Yoga<\/strong>.
