My name is Emily and I am a student at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, where I am focusing my interests on the sciences and English, particularly psychology and composition of non-fiction. This summer I had the pleasure of spending five weeks in Ecuador, where I especially enjoyed star gazing on la cancha with my group, cooking with one of our guides Anissa, and experiencing adventure like I never had before. I am looking forward to furthering my interest in international development and social change in college, but I have no idea what I want to major in. For now, I enjoy leading mental health awareness club, speaking Spanish, and hiking with my friends. I’m not sure yet what I want to do after college, but I know that I want to return to Ecuador and travel to other parts of the world as well.<\/p>\n
