We spoke to the Costa Rica group twice this weekend. Spirits were high as the group arrived back in San Isidro, after 3 great days at the Rainforest Adventure Center.\u00a0\u00a0The journey to the center included a two hour 4X4 ride followed by a two hour hike. While at the center the group climbed a 300 year old Giant Tree, repelled several hundred feet down a waterfall and participated in a night hike where they were able to see many species of frogs.\u00a0\u00a0They have been growing accustom to Costa Rican cuisine, eating lots of rice and beans and chicken!<\/p>\n
Now the group is settling into their community and beginning their homestays and service project.\u00a0\u00a0The leaders will try to send photos to share soon!<\/p>\n
